Christmas Eve

We had such a fun Christmas eve this year. First we did a gift exchange with the kids. We didn't let them shop for each other til Christmas eve morning. We knew they couldn't help telling each other if we waited til the last min. It was so fun seeing them excited to buy there brother/sister a gift with their money. And the all did such a good job picking out something the other person would love. Then when we got home we had a surprise from my brothers. They brought over the couch sled. Blake made this thing last year, it is my parents old love seat on top of some old snow boards. Then Tjay pulls it with his truck. My kids were so excited to go. Of course we made uncle Blake ride with them down the street.

Ellie was all excited to go play.

Tyler was able to come home the last min for Christmas. We were all so excited to see him!

The boys were leaving Christmas Morning so since they wouldn't be able to go to Grandma's and Papas. They came on Christmas eve to give them their presents. After that we headed to Sam's Family for Christmas Eve.
Ellie and her Grandpa James

Kaylynn and Hayleigh

Grandma had been working with the kids on Christmas songs to play for the program. They all did very well. I was very proud of them!

Gordon made Reindeer dust at preschool. He has told me all week how to make this stuff and has been so excited to sprinkle it on the yard. So after we got home, Hay Cade and Gordon went out side to sprinkle this stuff on the front yard.

Gordon sharing his dust and giving them all instructions on how to sprinkle it. He never gets to be the boss, so he was taking full advantage of it.

We open some presents and went to bed. Ellie's favorite part was just the wrapping paper. What a cheap baby.

When we were setting out cookies for Santa. I told Gordon to get a carrot for Rudolph. Gordon looked at me and said "Rudolph is fake mom. Santa is just pulled with normal Reindeer." I thought it was pretty cute.
